Digital Literacy for Youth

DaQot is developing informal activities for young people to enhance their digital knowledge and prepare them for future digital resilience. The activities consist of short knowledge-transfer sessions. They inspire, motivate, stimulate and encourage students to learn independently through fun, self-guided tasks. They cover the following topics:

  • Searching for and evaluating information using search engines, AI, and critical thinking
  • Cyber awareness, protecting profiles and safeguarding privacy
  • Communicating on social media and other platforms
  • Respecting privacy and handling personal data safely
  • Developing AI prompts, templates, presentations and simple applications
The activities improve knowledge, develop skills, and strengthen the self-confidence needed for present and future digital developments. These activities can be used in youth centres, as well as in schools, local authorities, and other relevant organisations.
